In the digital age, photographers are often tempted to alter images of nature. Its success is measured by believability. A nature photograph is irrevocably connected to our human beliem, rather than the image itself.

Cameras capable of making great photographs have become commonplace these days, but photographers have not. While technical innovations have made photography ever easier, the art of producing images that people will care about has become more formidable.
